Safe Packaging Guidelines

Safe Packaging Guidelines

With these Sprint developed packaging recommendations and processes, you can help guarantee that your item arrives securely and on schedule:

  1. Use a sturdy box with complete flaps.
  2. For heavy objects, use double-wall boxes.
  3. Remove any labels, hazardous materials, and any prior shipping markings from the box.
  4. Wrap each item individually.
  5. Make sure you have enough padding & 6 to 8 layers of bubble wrap.
  6. Use shipping tape that is strong and long-lasting.
  7. Use a physical address label with detailed delivery and return information.
  8. Bottles containing liquids should be placed upright.
  9. Leaks must be contained by the inside container.
  10. Wrap and tape all sharp edges on odd- or irregular-shaped items at the very least.
